Critiques
It gives a convincing illusion of a telescopic photograph, if not a 3D CGI image, but is, in fact, painted with Photoshop. Your choice to use a 2-dimentional medium was daring, but it obviously works for you.
The scene is just stunning. It is unmistakably a nebula, the birthplace of stars, which, I'm sure, was the inspiration for the title. The subtle glowing effects also add to the surrealism that is naturally in this scene, ans the stars in the background give good context and are a wise use of what would otherwise be empty space.
Whatever you do in the future, I can't wait to see it.
